“The second week of Telus Festival was just as amazing as the first. There were awesome events like a pro ski halfpipe contest on Blackcomb and a big air ski comp at the base of the mountains on Saturday night. I went to see Dilated Peoples at the Longhorn and they were incredible, as was RJD2 at “The End” which turned out to be a legendary final party. None of these things are in this video however, because I decided to show you the two great events that I just happened to stumble upon. I headed up Blackcomb one day and found the Palm Bay Slush Cup going on in front of the Glacier Creek Lodge. This was one of the coolest events that I have ever seen. The footage should be self explanatory. The other event that I just happened to stumble upon was the band Ozomatli. I had never heard of them but they put on a fantastic show and had the huge outdoor crowd dancing up a storm. Check it out!”
